We are delighted to launch the official website of the National Federation, constituted under the Indian Olympic Association (IOA) and recognized by the International Ski Federation (FIS), Asian Ski Federation (ASF) and under the aegis of the Sports Authority of India (SAI), Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports. The IOA ad-committee for Ski and snowboarding India was constituted by the office order of the Indian Olympic association on the 16th October 2023. The committee has been working in consultations with all stakeholders, including governing sports organisations, athletes, coaches and support staff to fulfil its mandate of resolving long standing disputes and governance issues that have impeded the development and progress of ski and snowboarding sports in India. We are proud to announce that the first ever KHELO India winter games to be conducted in coordination with the sports authority of India and the national sports federation (IOA ad hoc committee) was a resounding success. The number of participating athletes at national and international events have skyrocketed since October 2023 showing a renewed enthusiasm and bright future ahead for ski and snowboarding sports.
