. The Indian contingent is currently participating in the FIS Development Program, organised by the IOA Ad hoc Committee – Ski and Snowboard India, being held from 14 January to 3 February. The program is aimed at strengthening India’s winter sports ecosystem through structured international exposure, advanced technical training, and long-term athlete development aligned with international standards.

The contingent for this development camp includes junior alpine athletes and senior snowboard athletes, along with coaching and team support staff: Junior Alpine Girls: 5 athletes + 1 coach Junior Alpine Boys: 2 athletes + 1 coach Senior Snowboarding: 2 athletes Team Management: 1 Team Manager Athlete & Staff List Team Manager: Ajay Bhatt Junior Alpine Girls: Jannat Thakur Parineeta Thakur Jiya Aryan Hazika Bint Farooq Mahak Coach (Junior Girls): Sabiya Nabi Junior Alpine Boys: Sahil Thakur Faizan Ahmad Lone Coach (Junior Boys): Alwyn Kanwar Senior Snowboarding Athletes: Mehraj Ud Din Khan Zubair Ahmad Lone This development initiative reflects a focused effort to nurture young alpine talent while supporting senior snowboard athletes through high-quality training and international exposure. The contingent is scheduled to return on 3 February, with key learnings expected to contribute to athlete progression and future international performances.
