This prestigious event aims to provide a competitive platform for athletes across India, showcase emerging talents, and promote winter sports at a national level. Event Details: - Championship Type: National Championship & Open National Championship - Disciplines: Cross-Country Skiing, Alpine Skiing, and Snowboarding. - Age Groups: Juniors Category and Senior/Open Category - Event Dates: To be finalized based on the host’s proposal and seasonal considerations Eligibility to Apply: - State/UT Associations and Organizations affiliated with SSI - Entities with proven experience in hosting national or regional winter sports events - Ability to provide necessary facilities, safety measures, and a suitable course for the disciplines offered Host Responsibilities: - Organize and manage the event according to SSI regulations and guidelines - Ensure compliance with national standards for track preparation and athlete safety - Provide logistical support, including accommodation and transportation for officials and participants - Collaborate with SSI for branding, media coverage, and promotion of the event.
